Easy beaded bracelet tutorial

Beaded bracelets

I have gone bracelet mad. But then so has the rest of the world. I’ve been mixing up beaded bracelets with plastic ones as well as different types of friendship or string bracelets. Am loving the effect  of the varying colours and textures stacked on my wrist

Beaded bracelets are everywhere right now and so, so easy to make. In the photo are crystal, onyx, glass, cut glass, pearl and shell beaded bracelets.

Ribbon to tie bracelets together

I use elastic thread from our local bead shop. It makes getting the bracelets on and off a breeze and obviates the need for clasps or opening and closing gadgets.

Instructions? It’s really not that hard. Buy gorgeous beads and elastic thread. Load up the beads on the elastic thread. Tie a secure knot. Trim excess elastic thread and that’s it!

For an extra twist add a piece of ribbon to tie your bracelets together. Have a look at the picture on the right to see how.
