Lace Choker
Am a bit choker obessed at the moment. Made this lace choker as well as a . . . . . Shweshwe Choker, Strapping Choker and a Ribbon Choker.
You need: –
- a piece of lace trimming about 30 centimtres long (or more for just in case)
- matching colour thread or Fray Stop glue to seals ends
- thin ribbon or cord about 50 centimetres long
You do: –
Fold back and neaten the ends of your lace trimming. You can either zig-zag with a sewing machine like I did. Or use that glue stuff you can buy that seals off any loose ends.
You will use ribbon or cord to make a closure. The two ends will tie together.
What I didn’t show in the pic above is you tie the ribbon mid way to one end of your choker. To put it on – face a mirror. Bring the closure to the front of your neck. Slide the ribbon or cord through the opposite side of your choker. Make a bow. Once secure slide that to the back of your neck.
Voila! A lovely lace choker.
Have a great week.
Greenie.
