Suedette Business Card Holder
I love, love suedette which is why I made this suedette business card holder. Don’t do real skin ever due my vegan lifestyle. Suedette is as attractive as well as easier to sew since it doesn’t stick to the foot of a sewing machine. Made a few items from a piece of suedette which you can find on these links – Waist Wallet Tutorial – and – Frindged Tote Tutorial.
What to do with the left-over pieces? Business card holder, sunglass holder, mobile phone pouch . . to name a few. This suedette business card holder is beyond easy to make. Here’s how.
You need: –
- suedette
- matching colour thread
- pins
- sewing scissors
- sewing machine
You do: –
Cut a rectangle of suedette that will fit your business cards. Make sure you allow enough to sew a seam along both sides. See below.
Snip a V out of the one end.
Pin and check that your cards can fit in niccely and snug. Too loose and they fall out. Too tight and you will not get them in. Sew along the sides.
Voila! a nifty new business card holder.
Have a great week.
Greenie.
