Crochet Glasses Case
This crochet glasses case is a great way to use up left over wool. If you have really short wool scraps you can layer different coloured stripes for a fun, fresh and funky new glasses case.
You need: –
- wool
- crochet hook
You do: –
Start by making a chain approximately 15 centimetres wide. As long as it can fit around a pair of glasses. You will be folding this piece in half.
Keep crocheting until you have enough length for a pair of glasses to fit into your crochet glasses case.
Once your piece is long enough, cast off, leaving enough wool so you can sew the bottom and sides of your crochet glasses case.
Fold over your piece and stitch the bottom and sides and you’re done. It’s as simple as that.
I tried cutting fabric strips to make yarn to crochet but there was so much fluff I gave up. This would be really nice in a cotton though. And you can play around with crochet stitches for a bit of fun.
Have a fabulous green week,
Greenie.
