Burda Sweater

If I come across a Burda magazine, I page through it, and if I find easy patterns that I like, I buy the mag. Which is how I found this easy Burda sweater pattern. Any pattern that doesn’t involve setting sleeves always get’s my vote.

You could take a sweater of your own and trace around the edges and make a similar pattern to this Burda sweater. I did the whole proper thing of tracing the pattern from the tangle of patterns all packed onto one sheet of paper. Bit of a mission to find the right pattern pieces.

The neck will be slightly lower at the front than the back.

Pin and sew ribbing to neck and cuffs. I wish I had made my ribbing a bit wider. It was also too loose. I needed to make it tighter.

But the top worked out just fine. I feel a bit Dr Spock in it but I love it.

Have a fabulous green week.
