Crochet Statement Necklace
In this blog post I show how I used fabric and wool scraps to crochet a Statement Necklace.
You need: –
- fabric scraps
- wool scraps
- very large sized crochet hook
- ribbon or cord to tie necklace
- sewing scissors

Often I end up with odd shaped bits of fabric or pieces that are too small. I tried to cut them so they sort of unraveled into one long piece. See below.
And then I started crocheting a strip which I would shape into a semi circle.
Adding layers of various scraps.
The last row was a tiny bit of green wool that was lurking in my stash.
Finally I cut two pieces of cord and tied them at each end. And that was it. Necklace complete. If you want it firm, you can immerse it in fabric starch which will stiffen it up.
Happy New Year!
See you right here in 2016.
