Instructions for a multi strand necklace
Bright green beads |
Oh gosh. I had so hoped to be sewing and making things for the holidays, but alas, it’s not to be. Our house is even more chaotic than it was last week. I hardly thought it could be possible, but it is.
Not only is everything in boxes and black bags a la last week, but half built cupboards and boxes with builders tools are strewn all over the house.
Have not even tried to clean the saw dust and dirt. As fast as I clean it all comes back. Just have to get though each day and remind myself – this too shall pass.
Am dredging up an older post but with a bit

more detail this time around. My early blog posts were decidedly lacking in information. I don’t know what I was thinking back then. I guess I just assumed people would understand what I meant.
These green beads were one of my earliest DIYs. I had a big fat bag of gorgeous green beads. I strung the whole lot onto thick cotton.
It’s a looong necklace. I wrap it around my neck a good few times. Every single time I wear that necklace, I get compliments. Who knew cheap plastic beads could make such an impact.
I loved the beads so much I made another version with pearl beads. As you can see from the pic, I got neon beads. When I finally unpack, will be making a neon necklace too.
