Add brooches to a chain

This is a really quick and easy way to whip up a sparkly necklace for a special outfit. You need a neck chain. Either make one up or use an existing one. And a pretty brooch, or six as in the photograph.

To make your own neck chain you will need a length of chain. The chain I used is stainless steel from the hardware store. You also need an O-ring and a clasp to close your chain. I have a handy pair of pliers I bought at the bead shop to bend and twist O-rings and wire.

 Take one or more of your favorite brooches. Slip the pin of the brooch/s through the chain to prevent the brooches sliding. Close the clasp of the brooch securing the brooch to the chain. That’s it, you’re done!
