Accessorising a jacket

This harks back to my love of flower corsages a la Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City.

It was a hair elastic, to which I added a clip, so I can wear it on the lapel of a jacket. Stylist Patricia Field started a few trends on that show and this is one of my favourites. It’s such an easy way to take a jacket from blah to brilliant.

Although this jacket is hardly blah. The jacket is from Zara. I had to have it. The colour is enough to lift any one’s spirits.

What is it about green, that makes it such an approachable and cheerful colour?
