Vintage clothing

I absolutely love, love, love this shirt. Yet another favorite vintage buy. Apart from the fabric that is was made in, some kind of crimplene or trilobal, the design is so pretty.

These shirts used to be a dime a dozen back in the day. They wash and dry so quickly. And they never need ironing. For travelling they are just the business.

The waistcoat is a newer acquisition and the denim contrasts with the prettiness of the shirt. Naturally a Patricia Field-esque flower fits into the feel of this outfit.

The Greenie Galleries at the top of this page have 100s of photos of older and newer projects showing multiple ways to make your own clothing and accessories. There are also ideas to recycle or upcycle.

See you soon.
