How to upcycle tees
I loved my funked up T-shirts from a good few posts back so much, I am on a mission to make more. Plain white T-shirts are great but they can be a little … plain. Besides you can’t buy anything like this anywhere.
In this example, I took some green wool and tried to shape it in a heart shape. I pinned the wool to the T-shirt and then zig-zag stitched the wool to the T-shirt. It’s an obscure heart design, which I happen to like. You could write words or layer different colours on top of each other. Or use silver thread or braid?
For a night time version of this, a string of sequins would work. Maybe even a string of crystal beads? You might have to hand sew the beads as they wouldn’t fit under the foot of a sewing machine.
This is going to be fun, fun, fun.
The Greenie Galleries at the top of this page have 100s of photos of older and newer projects showing multiple ways to make your own clothing and accessories. There are also ideas to recycle or upcycle.
See you soon.

Where do you get these ideas. Greenie beauty idea. While avos are cheap, use the inside of the skins to rub over face and elbows before your bath (but never answer the door with this "green" mask on as you might scare you guests). Wash off after 10 minutes.
