DIY clothing outfit

I was wondering if the need to make things out of nothing could be classed as a form of OCD? If so, then I must be well and truly afflicted with it.

The shift dress should be familiar. I showed how I made the pattern, and other versions of it, a few posts ago. This one was made from sheeting. An old sheet actually.

The scarf was an el cheapo at a second hand shop. Dior, if you don’t mind. The shop owner obviously didn’t know.

The pendant is a piece of snow quartz. It came from our bead shop. I put a post through it so I could add an O-ring, then added the chain. It is long enough, so I didn’t add a clasp.

The only new item in the picture is the stash of bangles from H and M.

The Greenie Galleries at the top of this page have 100s of photos of older and newer projects showing multiple ways to make your own clothing and accessories. There are also ideas to recycle or upcycle.

See you soon.
