How to make a bead necklace

I must admit, I got a bit carried way with the statement necklaces of last season. Usually I try to buy beads in semi precious stones and work with silver rather than cheaper materials. But these white wooden beads just caught my eye and I could see them as a bold necklace.

No skill required in making this at all. I always buy proper thread for stringing beads as it is stronger. I gauged the length and then knotted the thread and that was it. The beads and thread together were equivalent in cost to a cup of coffee.
