How to make a shift dress
Here is one last version of the shift dress. I ran out of fabric and had to stitch two pieces of fabric together to get the full length of the dress, hence the interesting effect at the bottom. Actually I quite like the addition.
The instructions for this shift dress are in previous posts and you can find them here – Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3.
The necklace is a selection of glass and crystal beads. There is a mix of black onyx, clear quartz, moss agate, green jasper and moonstone. It was a using up of left-over stones session and the end result was much better than I expected. You can read how to make it – in this post.
The Greenie Galleries at the top of this page have 100s of photos of older and newer projects showing multiple ways to make your own clothing and accessories. There are also ideas to recycle or upcycle.
See you soon.
