Home made camisole top

This is an evening version of the OBI or wrap and tie belt. It’s also slightly wider than the previous ones. The necklace consists of a piece of chain and bits for the clasp from our local bead merchant and a medal  I found at a coin collectors shop in one of our antique markets.

Instructions to make the camisole top are – here – and – here.

I made this top from a piece of satin. I went a bit mad and made a few of these slip or lingerie inspired tops.
They are so easy to make. It consists of two pieces; a back and a front, stitched together and hemmed at the lower end.

I used a matching colour bias binding to trim the top edges and to make thin straps.
